About
Peter Colley
Peter Colley began his theatre career with attending the University of Sheffield in England, where he acquired a firm background as actor, writer, and director. Coming to Canada as an actor with Theatre London, he was commissioned to write The Donellys, which proved to be the most successful play in the theatre's seventy-year history. It played to 99.69 percent full houses, with thousands more being turned away at the door. A 1976 revival also ran for three weeks at the National Arts Centre, to the same critical acclaim. Mr. Colley's next play You'll Get Used To It...The War Show, opened to rave reviews in London and Toronto.
