Descended from ten generations of Newfoundland seafareres, Bob Chaulk has spend a lifetime researching the ships and men who struggled to feed their families from what the ocean provided. This is his third book about the ocean off eastern Canada. Bob lives in Halifax with his wife Sandra. They have two adult sons.
