Eduardo Bettencourt Pinto has written several books of fiction and poetry. A cor do Sul nos teus olhos and Travelling with Shadows, a bilingual collection of poems in Portuguese and English are his latest books. Translated into several languages, his work is represented in anthologies in Portugal, Spain, Angola, Brazil, Canada, Italy, Latvia, Cuba and the USA. Born in Gabela, South of Angola, he has lived in Zimbabwe and in the Azores, before moving to Canada in 1983. He is currently writing a poetry book, a collection of short stories and a novel. He lives in Maple Ridge, British Columbia.
