Vangie Bergum R.N., Ph.D., received her B.Sc.N. from the University of British Columbia. Now retired, her work life has focused on public health nursing and health care ethics. She has authored several books on prenatal education, and health care for mothers and children. She now lives near Ymir, British Columbia.
