François Barcelo
François Barcelo was born in 1941 in Montreal. He is author of more than 30 novels for adults, as well as essays, children’s novels, and two collections of short stories. He won the Governor General’s Award for French-language children’s literature in 2007 and was the first Quebecer published in Gallimard’s prestigious Série Noire collection. His novel Cadavres became a movie in 2008. This is his first novel to appear in English.
