Charles W. Anderson was born at Morris, Manitoba in 1931 and graduated in Agriculture from the University of Manitoba in 1955. Before entering the Winnipeg Grain trade in 1972, he was a grain farmer at Morris and, for several years, reeve of the Morris municipality. He has served on various committees of the Canada Grain Council and the Winnipeg Commodity Exchange.
