Description

Thirty-something Heritage Carter is dispatched by his ailing, millionaire grandfather--his last surviving family member, to Clayoquot Sound on Canada's extreme west coast, to fix a management problem at a high-end resort lodge he half-owns. Heritage encounters obstacles and unsolved mysteries at every turn--least of which is a precocious 15-year old terror with a near-fatal crush on Heritage.

Contributor Notes

Michael Scott Curnes is an award-winning North American fiction novelist living on Vancouver Island. Wicked Ninnish is his fourth published novel and is loosely derived from his experiences living in Clayoquot Sound from the mid-Nineties to the mid-Oughts—when and where he designed and built an off-the-grid cabin on Wickaninnish Island while managing an oceanfront resort, helming the local chamber of commerce, and running two Bed-and-Breakfasts. Curnes is a member of The Writer's Union of Canada.
