John Graham-Pole is a professor emeritus of pediatric oncology and palliative care from University of Florida (UF). He has been a poet and writer for several decades, and has published thirteen books, including three volumes of poetry as well as fiction and non-fiction inspired by his 40-year career in medicine. He co-founded and co-directed Shands Arts in Medicine and the UF Center for Arts in Medicine.
Cathy DeWitt is an award-winning songwriter, recording artist and performer. She’s been a Unity music director, radio host and music teacher. Cathy is the senior Musician in Residence at the Shands Arts in Medicine, and a therapeutic harpist for the International Harp Therapy Program. She has worked with UF Health Arts in Medicine and Arts & Aging for over two decades.
