Description

The Welcome to the World series has opened its borders and is exploring animals from around the world. With lively and informative text and color photographs, these books promise to deliver you to exotic lands-and you won't even have to leave your house! Elephants cry when they're sad and laugh when they're happy. They have greeting ceremonies for family and friends, and very long memories. An elephant's trunk has over 100,000 muscle units, and is so heavy it's not uncommon to see an elephant resting its trunk on a tusk. These are just some of the facts you'll learn about African and Asian elephants in WELCOME TO THE WHOLE WORLD OF ELEPHANTS. Complete with full-color photographs, this book will teach you all you want to know about elephants.
