Description

IN THE FASCINATING UNIVERSE of W.P. Kinsella, there’s no place quite like the Ermineskin Reserve in Hobbema, Alberta, where Silas Ermineskin and his friend Frank Fencepost live out their absurd, touching and hilarious adventures. Thousands of readers have travelled with Silas and Frank as they cause a riot on a nude beach in Vancouver, chit-chat with the Queen in her bedroom, spar with a beauty-pageant manager and turn the Alberta Supreme Court into a bunch of legal loonies.
Kinsella’s three Hobbema collections have generated a mountain of terrific reviews, more than a few columns of controversy and an immeasurable amount of reader enjoyment, not to mention a Stephen Leacock Medal for Humour (for The Fencepost Chronicles). A popular seller when it was first published in 1998, this reissued W.P. Kinsella Omnibus will delight Kinsella’s devoted readers as well as attract new fans to his unique brand of funny, fantastical fiction.
