Shalea Beckwith is working as a Consultant Pediatrician with Kidcrew. She previously worked with Quinte Health Care (QHC) and was the Chief/Medical Director of Pediatrics at QHC and an Assistant Professor at Queen's University. She went to Queen's University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree, and then she did a Masters of Science in Physiology at the University of British Columbia (UBC). Shalea went to Medical School at UBC and then she completed a Residency in Pediatrics at Queen's University. She has been engaged in leadership development and participated in the Harvard Medical School Global Pediatrics Leadership Course. Dr Piteau has an interest in medical missions and she raised money to build a medical clinic for orphan children in Kenya. She enjoys spending time with her family and participating in sporting activities such as biking, wake-boarding, and swimming.
