JEAN E. Jean E. Pendziwol is the award-winning author of numerous books for children, including Skating Wild on an Inland Sea, winner of the TD Canadian Children’s Literature Award, and Once Upon a Northern Night, a finalist for the Governor General's Award and the TD Canadian Children's Literature Award. Born and raised in northwestern Ontario, she draws on the culture, history and geography of the region for inspiration for her stories.
