In 1942, with Nazi Germany and the Allies locked in ceaseless struggle across Europe, young Pearl Collis and John Kochansky found peace and happiness with each other while stationed in Argentia, Newfoundland.
The U.S. Army base at Argentia served as the backdrop for a love that would stand the test of time.
