Description

The exciting, page-turning LAST episode of Kelley Armstrong's acclaimed, bestselling Women of the Otherworld series!
Savannah Levine, a young witch of remarkable power and a dangerous pedigree, staggers away from a bomb blast in New Orleans, glad that she's managed to rescue her half-brother Bryce from the supernatural revolutionaries who'd held him captive. But everyone and everything she holds dear is still at risk. The reveal movement has shaken the Otherworld to its core and the resulting chaos has thinned the boundaries between dimensions, allowing creatures of the deeper realms to break through and wreak havoc, on supernaturals but also on innocent humans.
Although she's been temporarily stripped of her powers, Savannah knows she has a crucial part to play in this war of survival. Only in the final battle will Savannah find out her true capacities, and what love will drive her to do. A powerful and deeply satisfying end to a unique saga: thrilling, surprising and harrowing.

About the author

When librarians finally granted Kelley Armstrong an adult card, she made straight for the epic fantasy and horror shelves. She spent the rest of her childhood and teen years happily roaming fantastical and terrible worlds, and vowed that someday she'd write a story combining swords, sorcery, and the ravenous undead. That story began with the New York Times bestselling Sea of Shadows and continues with Empire of Night.

Armstrong's first works for teens were the New York Times bestselling Darkest Powers and Darkness Rising trilogies. She lives in rural Ontario with her husband, three children, and far too many pets.

Editorial Reviews

NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER
NATIONAL BESTSELLER

"Fast-paced and plot-driven. . . . The conclusion to the series is so strong that one might wonder why Armstrong is not planning to continue the books. It speaks to her wisdom as a writer to know when to stop, or at least take a breather. . . . It is clearly a conscious choice on Armstrong's part to wrap it up, and it is a good one. In her final note, she says that this is how she envisioned the series ending. This reader is looking forward to seeing what new worlds Armstrong will explore in future novels."
—The Globe and Mail

"Like Stephen King . . . Armstrong not only writes interesting page-turners, she has also achieved that unlikely goal, what all writers strive for: a genre of her own."
