Description
Rev. James Cantelon has long had a reputation for making matters of faith relevant and alive to a mass audience. In Theology for the Non-Theologian, he promises to answer the questions of a newer generation of spiritual seekers, addressing such issues as the nature and existence of God, God’s plan, and the why of Creation. Not simply focused on Christian theology, the book describes the godheads of the world’s major religions and movements. With a short overview of each book of the Bible, as well as real-life examples that complement the parables, this new edition promises to bring understanding to the many who wish to know and live by divine grace.
About the author
James Cantelon is a clergyman/broadcaster/author, president and founder of a federal Canadian charity called Visionledd. His weekly TV program, Eye to Eye, aired in Toronto, London, Ottawa, Winnipeg, and Vancouver. While Eye to Eye has wrapped up a successful six-year run, James has been approached to host a Webcast on theology targeted at new Christians. Visionledd is working in five south-eastern Africa countries and is about to begin work in Bulgaria and South America as well. James Cantelon is a world leader in the mobilization of churches as a delivery mechanism for proactive HIV/AIDS work among orphans and widows. This experience is the basis for his book When God Stood Up: A Christian Response to AIDS in Africa.
