Description

Louis is an orphan born into wilderness. His early years are a tale of a simple survival, during which time he becomes a trafficker. He eventually gets trafficked by the very people whom he was helping traffic others. His life takes a few dramatic turns as he changes professions becoming a cook, a career thief, and, eventually, a murderer. He also becomes a fugitive twice, finding himself back in the very wilderness where he started. His final moments are a tale of survival, a failed one this time, as he allows a human feeling to cloud his otherwise predatory judgement.

Excerpt: The Unusual Lives: A Trafficked (by (author) Lana Guzman; photographs by Edgar Guzman)

Louis was born in the heart of a jungle. He was the second child of his mother, who died shortly after giving birth to him. He never had any recollection of knowing his mother, not a picture, not even a verbal description as to who she was, how she looked like, and, most importantly, how much she loved him from the moment of his first breath and to her last. Whether that was the main reason why he became a misogynist from a very young age, or maybe it was just his true nature from the moment he was born, forever remained unknown to him and to everyone who ever crossed his path. Whether it was at all possible, Louis was an evil child, and would stay an evil person to his own last breath. But back then, the moment he gasped at air for the first time in his life, none of that was known neither to him, nor to his yet alive mother.
