About the author

Alf Dumont served in The United Church of Canada for over 40 years as a minister at Tottenham Rich Hill Pastoral Charge, Beverley Hills United Church, and St. John’s United Church. He was the Director of the Dr. Jessie Saulteaux Resource Centre, a First Nations theological training centre, and Speaker of the All Native Circle Conference. He serves as an Elder at the Indigenous Services Centre of the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
