About the authors

Lekha Singh photographs Africa, Asia and the Americas for powerful images and human stories. She won the Maura Award for Global Achievement for her work as founder of i2Foundation. Her photos of Afghan women were recently featured by National Geographic in The Other Side of War: Women's Stories of Survival and Hope by Zainab Salbi. This is her second book.
