Description
The gift of family
The Journey Home
After she was abandoned in the darkest hours of the Depression, Charlotte Porter’s future is uncertain, until an unseen hand guides Kody Douglas to her door. The cowboy offers to take Charlotte to his family’s homestead, and she reluctantly agrees. But the more she learns about him and the secret that haunts his memories, the more she aches to comfort him. Can two outcasts brought together by hard times and shared faith find love?
Family of the Heart
In her silk finery, Sarah Randolph knew she was no more a nanny than the haughty widower before her. How long would it be before Clayton Bainbridge cast her out? She should return to Philadelphia, but sweet little Nora Bainbridge desperately needed some mothering. And the pain in Clayton’s stormy blue eyes told Sarah that her journey there must be part of God’s larger plan for them all…
About the authors
Linda Ford lives on a ranch in Alberta, Canada. Growing up on the prairie and learning to notice the small details it hides gave her an appreciation for watching God at work in His creation. Her upbringing also included being taught to trust God in everything and through everything—a theme that resonates in her stories. She and her husband raised fourteen children—ten adopted. She currently shares her home with her husband, a grown son and a live-in paraplegic client.
