Syed Nazim Ali is Research Professor and the Director for the Center for Islamic Economics and Finance, Qatar Faculty of Islamic Studies, at the Hamad Bin Khalifa University, Qatar Foundation. He is author or editor of numerous books including Ali, S.N. and Nisar S. (eds.) Takaful and Islamic Cooperative Finance: Challenges and Opportunities (Edward Elgar, 2016), Ali, S.N. (ed.) Shari‘a-Compliant Microfinance (Routledge, 2011), and Ali, S.N. and Ali, N.N. Information Sources on Islamic Banking and Economics 1980-90 (Routledge, 1994).

 

Wijdan Tariq is a Senior Researcher at the Center for Islamic Economics and Finance, Qatar Faculty of Islamic Studies, at the Hamad Bin Khalifa University, Qatar Foundation. He is co-editor (with Bahnaz Al Quradaghi et al) of several books published by Bloomsbury Qatar Foundation Publishing in 2015: Access to Finance and Human Development: Essays on Zakah, Awqaf and Microfinance; Islamic Economics: Theory, Policy and Social Justice; Islamic Banking and Finance: Essays on Corporate Finance, Efficiency and Product Development; Ethics, Governance and Regulation in Islamic Finance; and Financial Stability and Risk Management in Islamic Financial Institutions.

 

Bahnaz Al Quradaghi is a Senior Researcher at the Center for Islamic Economics and Finance, Qatar Faculty of Islamic Studies, at the Hamad Bin Khalifa University, Qatar Foundation.
