About the authors

Jennette MacKenzie has been an educator for more than 30 years and has enjoyed many roles: classroom teacher, teacher-librarian, consultant, principal/co-ordinator of programs for elementary and secondary schools. Jennette has worked extensively for Brock University, teaching principals' training courses and additional qualifications courses. She has worked at the Faculty of Education and at the provincial Ministry of Education and Training. Jennette works extensively with teachers and administrators across the country providing in-service and workshops.
