Description
Canada's majestic Rocky Mountains are the country's playground and a traveller's wonderland; this new addition to the Colourguide series provides comprehensive, up-to-date information on the top destinations in the region.
Local experts highlight the best in regional cuisine, shopping, hiking, skiing and tours; they also describe Western Canada's best galleries, museums, theatres and events, creating a guide that perfectly suits those who seek a balance of outdoor pursuits and cultural activities.
This guidebook, which covers both Edmonton and Calgary as well as Alberta's parks, is lavishly illustrated with colour photographs and includes a listings section with telephone numbers, addresses, and all available websites for those who use the web to research and book their vacations.

Editorial Reviews
Praise for the Colourguides series:
"These are books to keep for reference or to give as presents... they're readable, informative and beautiful. I hope they eventually do one for each province and territory."
