Description
Deep in rural Suffolk, England, during the reign of Queen Elizabeth I, terror strikes at the hearts of pious Christians on a hot August night, when they are attacked by a beast known only as Black Shuck. In this reimagining of one of England's most famous folkloric tales, readers will be taken through the terrifying and mysterious story of Black Shuck, a mythic beast that would act as inspiration for Arthur Conan Doyle's classic story, The Hound of the Baskervilles.

Editorial Reviews
'In this graphic novel, Mark Allard-Will shows his growing skills as a story-teller with a well-researched piece looking at a little-know legend in the UK of the Black Shuck, a giant black hellhound that stalks the plains of Suffolk. Much like his former tale Arkade, his interest in Scandic mythology and the culture of the era shines through, and allows him to craft around it a bloody horror brought to gory life by Ryan Howe. While short, it packs enough of a tale to allow one to enjoy, and also finishes with a delightful epilogue telling readers more of the legend, and local history. Recommended.' - Oli Jacobs, Storygraph
