More than four hundred works of short fiction from all across Canada were submitted to the contest, each inspired by one of the thirteen tracks from You Forgot It In People.

About the author
Carl Wilson is the author of Let's Talk About Love, a book about aesthetic taste, class, democracy and Celine Dion, which Paste Magazine called the best music book of the decade. A new, expanded edition will be published in 2014. He's covered music in Toronto since 1999 for The Globe and Mail and at his website Zoilus.com and the group blog Backtotheworld.net, and has written and talked about music and culture in a wide range of other venues.
