Excerpt: The Adventures of Togo: Togo Learns How to Play (by (author) Pat McCulloch; illustrated by Nancy Jackson)
Togo liked to chase butterflies and birds. He liked to chase some of his friends too. He thought that when they played ‘chase’ everyone was having fun! One day he was chasing his friends, Freddie and Peggy, around the farm yard. Chickens cannot fly very far so they ran and flapped and jumped to get away from Togo. Soon all of the chickens were running away from Togo.
