Description

Inspired by his wife's sleep-talking, author Dave Driver has written a clever, whimsical children’s book for all ages.
Illustrator Guy Laird's drawings make the story come alive!
Easton is a ‘big’ little boy with a bit of a temper. One day, after a disagreement with his brother Cooper, a strange thing happens. Easton begins to grow … and grow … and GROW! As he bursts through the roof of the house and runs down the street to explore the whole neighbourhood, his worried family wonders how to get their Big Baby back … back to the house and back down to his ‘normal’ size again. Suddenly, it’s SuperMom to the rescue! In the end, only a mother’s love can save the day.
(Everything that SuperMom says in the book is actually something the author's wife said in her sleep!)

About the authors

Contributor Notes

Dave Driver is a mortgage specialist from Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. He is married to Kelli and they have three young sons.

“The inspiration for this book comes from my wife Kelli. After realizing that Kelli had been talking in her sleep a lot, I started taking notes as she sleep-talked. One day, I decided to write a story about our family, using all the silly things that my wife has said in her sleep. Everything that SuperMom says in this book is something that Kelli actually said while sleep-talking. Kelli still talks in her sleep, so watch for the sequel.”

Editorial Reviews

“This soft cover book will appeal to little people and big people alike, who love silly stories and reading them aloud. They will be amazed to watch Easton become larger than life as each page turns.”
