Description

When a loud-mouthed dinosaur meets a brainy squirrel in this award-winning picture book, we learn that everyone has a story to tell

Squirrels are amazing! But look out, this dinosaur wants to steal the show! Every time the squirrel tries to tell us amazing things about squirrels (There are flying squirrels! The largest squirrels are as big as dogs!) the rude dinosaur barges in.

But the adorable and clever squirrel has lots of tricks to make sure we hear all we want to know (Squirrels use their tails like blankets, and also to communicate!). It's a book for anyone who loves squirrels or dinosaurs, and teaches us that if only we persevere, we will find a way to get our story heard.

Editorial Reviews

"A narcissistic dinosaur hijacks an informational text about squirrels, much to the consternation of the squirrel narrator." – Kirkus

"A book packed with fun facts, cleverly inserted into a zany and highly sympathetic narrative." - Émilie Folie-Boivin, Québec Science

"This book, halfway between an album and a documentary, is a delight. Between the squirrel's desperate efforts and the dinosaur's slightly irreverent comments, the reader is swept up in an exciting read where, in spite of everything, he learns a lot! - Sophie Loiselle, Le Soleil

"Best squirrel book ever!" - Un autre blogue de maman
