Description

Scout’s Honour is an exhibition curated by Ryan Rice featuring work created by artists Michael Belmore and Frank Shebageget inspired by a scouting expedition that lead them back home to the northern community of Upsala, Ontario. The artists, both from the Anishnaabe First Nation, came together to unravel truths and their desire to honour their interrelated histories and encounters within a place integral to their nation, families and selves.

Scout’s Honour includes 11 full-colour photographs of the exhibition, as well as an essay by Curator Ryan Rice, an introduction by University of Lethbridge Art Gallery Director/Curator Josephine Mills, and a forward by Museum London Director Brian Meehan.
