Description
At the mouth of the St. John River sits New Brunswick's largest city. Once a summer gathering place for the native Wolastoqiyik (Maliseet), this beautiful spot on the Bay of Fundy was first settled by Europeans in the seventeenth century, and today people from all corners of the globe are drawn to the city of Saint John. One of New Brunswick’s finest photographers, Rob Roy has once again turned his lens to the place he calls home. His exquisite photographs lead us through the streets of Saint John, inviting us to look more closely at the elegant homes, the sparkling harbour. He captures the life of the city as well as its charm—families play at the Fisher Lakes, a glittering cruise ship pulls out of the harbour, and citizens and tourists alike stroll down the Harbour Passage walkway. This new edition contains many updated photos and captions, showing the changing landscape of one of the Maritimes most bustling and historic locales.
