Description

No one knows New Brunswick like Colleen Whitney Thompson, and no one has ever guided travellers over its highways and byways with the élan of Roads to Remember. Thompson's name and face are familiar worldwide. A travel writer with two decades of experience and the winner of an American Express Travel Award, she's the author of the New Brunswick section of the Fodor's, Birnbaum's, Penguin and Berlitz guides to Canada. The New York Times called her best-selling (but long out of print) New Brunswick Inside Out "One of the best and most readable regional guides." Her adventures take Thompson everywhere, but she gives New Brunswick first prize for beauty and interest. In Roads to Remember, she shares her insider's scoop on customs, history, and gossip, and even her favourite jokes. Her separate section tells where to stay and where (and what) to eat. As new Brunswickers say, "It's the very best."
