Description

Reilly Green, a small town journalist, takes advantage of a chance encounter with a celebrated adventure writer. An interview with the notoriously publicity-shy Derek Armstrong will give her a scoop that could get her out of Albion Springs and onto the staff of a major newspaper. When she finds out Derek is escaping his hectic life for a peaceful fishing expedition, Reilly pretends to be a professional guide. With the help of her best friend's boyfriend, who knows his way around a fishing rod, Reilly and her friend Molly take Derek into the wilds of Colorado. However, their plan for a tranquil holiday is threatened when strange occurrences disrupt the trip. Reilly has always craved adventure, but her time with Derek gives her more than she bargained for.

About the author

The small town where Rachel Evans and her husband are raising two daughters is close to Toronto's theaters and shopping yet still near to forests and fields where the very active family loves to mountain bike, hike, and ski. When not outdoors, Rachel likes to read historical novels and contemporary literature.
