Description
A funny, heartwarming and nostalgia-packed story about a father trying to teach his son to be an Inter fan by associating Inter’s victories with moments of euphoria and celebration, and elegantly overlooking their losses. The story is for Inter fans, calcio fans and for everyone who loves the game, including those who support other teams. But since it is not just about calcio, people can also relate to it as a parent, a child, and a person.

Excerpt: Papà, Zanetti and Other Superheroes (by (author) Tommaso Santi; translated by Sándor Anthony Vezér; illustrated by Meredith Wolting; cover design or artwork by Alice Iuri; from an idea by Edoardo Maturo; general editor Claudia Tavernese)
In this book, references to people and events weren’t randomly chosen; the characters were based on my personal relationship with each and every one of them.
Many Inter superheroes were not mentioned or were only briefly discussed. Listing everyone would make the list very long, and even still, someone would complain that an important player was missing.
That’s why this book shouldn’t finish with the words “The end,” but with “And now it’s your turn. . . .” Set your fantasies free as you reminisce about your idols; unforgettable games, victories, defeats, and trips; and your first time watching a game at the stadium.
