Raven Elwell Stephens is a Mi'kmaq artist from the Butterfly Clan of Millbrook First Nation. Raven has always been passionate about art and all the forms it can take. While exploring the beauty and creative potential of makeup, she discovered her personal form of artistic expression.

Mother Earth

Indigenous people have a very sacred and profound relationship with the land. Many Indigenous people believe that they have a responsibility to maintain a healthy balance with the land by taking only what they need. When they do take, they respect the land, thank the land, and give back to the land.
