Can Randi find a way to make it all work out?
Randi wants to be an actress and is excited about practicing her craft in drama class. So she is devastated to learn the program has been cut. When her friends put together a successful proposal to have drama class taught as an extracurricular activity, Randi is thrilled—until reality sinks in. VOYA Magazine
"Watson's high-low offering is a sensitive look at one sibling's struggle with and sacrifice for her brother...Toby is a well-rounded character...quite satisfying."
Booklist Online
“Straightforward vocabulary makes the book accessible to a wide range of students, but the text is not so simple that it becomes noticeable...Any youth could find something to relate to in this book...A good text to introduce students to the concept of empathy. Recommended.”
