Description
O Canada is an upper intermediate ESL text for adult and young adult learners. This four-skill book uses Canadian songs and songwriters as a starting point for each theme-based chapter. It is the second level of the new Culture Link series of four-skill, culture-focused books.
Each chapter builds upon the content of its focus song, examining new vocabulary, grammar structures, and themes. The book fulfills the practical teaching needs of the classroom in interesting ways through the use of Canadian content, including well-known Canadian songs and audio clips from the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC).
The full O Canada program includes the student book, audio CD containing authentic CBC clips, iTunes iMix (available through iTunes) containing the songs studied in the student book, workbook, and online teacher's resource.
