Description

The extraordinary lives of ordinary women - as told by their daughters. In 2004 Vancouver actor Marilyn Norry asked her friends to write the short form story of their mothers' lives. The stories that came back reveal an astonishing array of experience from around the world and, with birth dates ranging from 1890 to 1954, tell the story of how women of the 20th century have really lived. The writers are all professional actors - many have even won fancy awards! These 39 stories are the beginning of a growing archive of women's lives submitted by daughters and sons all over the world.
