Editorial Reviews

[A] thoughtful story told through the eyes of a young Inuit girl about the enduring relationship she had while growing up alongside her grandmother. Through levelled text and thoughtful illustrations, this book portrays the day-to-day activities and routines of a child and caregiver living today in the Canadian Arctic. From cooking and sewing to honouring important intergenerational roles and responsibilities, Jonas’s book offers new readers an accessible way to connect with modern Inuit life.
