Description

Marriages of conveniences bring holiday hearts together in three stories from Love Inspired Historical fan favorites Linda Ford, Rhonda Gibson and Sherri Shackelford that show love is the greatest gift at Christmas.

A temporary marriage to a cowboy seems the only solution for a widow to protect her unborn child. Perhaps an early Christmas arrival will show them both just how precious—and how permanent—their new family can be…

When a widowed sheriff rescues a schoolteacher from a blizzard, he never expects he’ll soon be proposing a marriage of convenience for the sake of his children. Their business-only arrangement could lead to holiday happiness...but only if they’ll forgo what’s practical and follow their hearts.

Wanting a mother for his twins, a single father suggests a marriage in name only to a woman who needs a fresh start far from her con man father’s schemes. And the more time they spend together, the more they begin to wonder if their nuptial of necessity could be the beginning of a love for a lifetime.

About the authors

Linda Ford lives on a ranch in Alberta, Canada. Growing up on the prairie and learning to notice the small details it hides gave her an appreciation for watching God at work in His creation. Her upbringing also included being taught to trust God in everything and through everything—a theme that resonates in her stories. She and her husband raised fourteen children—ten adopted. She currently shares her home with her husband, a grown son and a live-in paraplegic client.
