Editorial Reviews

“This comic is a great way of introducing non-naturalistic storytelling to young readers, reconnecting them to basic concepts of shape and showing them how it can tell a story.” — Rob Clough,High-Low

“Having shorter stories makesLunch Quest an especially good book for early readers with limited attention spans, and the bright colors and simple geometric shapes of Kuzma’s artwork invites readers to replicate his loose, lively style on their own.” — Oliver Sava,The A.V. Club

“Zany adventures await the characters of this bright and colourful comic book.” —CBC Books

Lunch Quest reads like a work of art and is definitely recommended.” — Teresa Iaizzo,Canadian Review of Materials

“The brightly coloured drawings will entertain even the youngest readers, while the simple vocabulary will engage kids ready to read Lunch Quest to themselves (plus they’ll probably find the mild gross-out humour like deer farts pretty funny).” — Gwen Ihnat,The A.V. Club
