Baby Bear does not want to sleep all winter, so he goes looking for spring. Along the way he is helped by animal friends in the forest in groups from one to five. Will they find spring? Children will learn counting one to five through this warm story with cute illustrations.
About the authors
After studying literature at college, Ji-wu Kim is now a translator and a children’s book writer. She has written several books including ranging from preschool storybooks to a beautiful retelling of the ballet Swan Lake as a story.
Annie Wilkinson, the youngest of eight children and the mother of two, was raised in Saskatchewan. She works in a variety of mediums including traditional and digital, creating bright and whimsical illustrations for both books and products. She also has a background in design and as a fine artist, two skills that she calls upon quite frequently when illustrating. She lives in Vancouver, British Columbia.
