Description

Jeremy Smith is a leader among the younger generation of Canadian realists artists. Largely self-taught as an artist, Smith studied French and Philosophy at the University of Western Ontario. He began working as a professional artist in 1971. He now lives in Kitchener, Ontario.

This book is the first to survey the achievements of this increasingly important Canadian artist. It is a co-publication of the Kitchener-Waterloo Art Gallery and Dundurn Press and is produced in conjunction with a survey exhibition of Jeremy Smith's work which will travel coast to coast in 1988-1989, after its opening at Hart House in Toronto in November.
