About the author
Jenny Visscher was born into a family of Winnipeg artists. She spent three intense years in a commercial arts program at Kildonan East High School and then continued her studies at the University of Winnipeg where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree. It was during her university years that she developed a passion for writing and illustrating children’s books. I Can Have my Picninc in a Patch of Roses is her first book.
