Editorial Reviews
"Extremely well written and easy to read with substantive and meaningful Canadian content, highlighted issues, and extensive (but easy to understand and often simplified) graphics. The introductory chapter is particularly engaging with respect to getting students excited about the topic. Eachsubsequent chapter is well justified (which also helps to engage students), and includes a good solid range of topics and issues that are sure to further engage students." --Sean T. Doherty, Wilfrid Laurier University
"William Norton's work and the Oxford Human Geography text have become well established as THE introductory text in the discipline. When asked, my students consistently report a high level of satisfaction with the quality of the work and its readability, compared to other texts and coursereadings." --Michael Fox, Mount Allison University
"The text continues to get better with each new edition. Bill Norton and Oxford University Press are to be commended for the amount of work that has gone into this text. I continue to use it in my course because, quite simply, it works for me and my students." --Walter Peace, McMaster University
