Description
An updated reissue of the bestselling title, with over 300 amazing facts!
This funny, informative bind-up of three successful books, ALL of them Silver Birch Award winners or finalists — You Asked for It!, Funny You Should Ask and Ask Me Anything! — is now reissued with updated stats and information and a bright new cover.
Why is 13 unlucky? Why don’t tattoos come off? Do twins have the same DNA? Why is it called a funny bone? What did we use before toilet paper? Do animals dream? Why can’t you tickle yourself?
Almost 300 wacky but informative snippets that kids are dying to know about, illustrated with 142 equally wacky illustrations by Tina Holdcroft. Much of the content in this book came from actual questions from kids.
About the author
MARG MEIKLE's knack for finding answers led to a widely appreciated stint on CBC Radio as "The Answer Lady". She further demonstrated her skills by writing several books of non-fiction, including three for children: You Asked for It!, Funny You Should Ask Me and Ask Me Anything! For her efforts, she has been awarded both the Silver Birch and Red Cedar Awards.
Marg was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease as a young mother, at the age of 41. In 2001 she held the first Porridge for Parkinson’s Breakfast in Vancouver. Through Marg’s efforts, this event mushroomed and inspired similar breakfast events across the country, which continue to this day. By the time of her death of complications from the disease in December, 2013, at the age of 57, the event and matching donations had raised 1.6 million dollars for Parkinson’s research.

Praise for Ask Me Anything!:
“Immense appeal. Trivia collectors will be in their glory. . . . Highly recommended.” — CM: Canadian Review of Materials
