Description

The authoritative source is now in its fifteenth straight year! Get comprehensive, insider assessments of all the 430 active NHL players--from all 27 teams. The sleepers, the up-and-comers, the heroes, and the enforcers are all included in the fifteenth edition of this Who's Who of the ice. Evaluate the latest statistics on each player's performance, along with an analysis of his physical game, finesse, and the intangibles that could make or break his game, plus a projection of how he'll perform next year. Other highlights include a list of the NHL's top 100 scorers and charts of the league leaders in the categories of goals and assists, power-play goals, and goalie statistics. Whether you're scouting for the office hockey pool, tracking your favorite team, involved in a "fantasy league," or just a fan, you won't want to follow the hockey season without this authoritative source at your fingertips.

"Like having top NHL scouts on your bookshelf."--The Hockey News.
"Better than a short-handed goal--an informative must for fans everywhere."--Dick Irving, Montreal Canadians Broadcaster.

Contributor Notes

Sherry Ross covers the New Jersey Devils for the New York Daily News. In 1992, she became the color commentator on the Devils' radio broadcasts--making her the NHL's first ever female team sportscaster. Before that, she also broke barriers as one of the first female sportswriters to cover a major news beat when, in her rookie season, she followed the New York Rangers to the Stanley Cup finals.
