About the author

April Lindgren has worked for more than twenty years as a journalist, editorial writer and radio and television political commentator. Her last "beat"— and the inspiration for this, her first book—was covering provincial politics at the Ontario legislature in Toronto for CanWest newspapers. She now teaches at Ryerson University's School of Journalism in Toronto, where she lives with her partner Anatoliy.
