About the author

K. L. Vidal took her M.A. and Ph.D. in Comparative Literature at Harvard University where she entered as a Woodrow Wilson National Fellow to pursue original research in literature, history, and dramatic arts. Non-fiction works include The Promis’d Hour: Dryden’s Theory and Congreve’s Art, and America: Past and Present, a three volume cultural history of the United States. Works for the theatre include Love, Lily, a musical; The Playwright and the Woman, an anthology; O Susannah!, a drama about Elizabeth Stanton and Susan Anthony and their struggle for human rights; Silent Auction, a romantic comedy; and Shell Game, a romantic thriller.
