About the author

Roger Vick was Curator of the Devonian Botanic Garden at the University of Alberta in Edmonton. He has published extensively and has served in a variety of roles for horticultura associations. In 1985 he was awarded the Alberta Horticultural Association Centennial Gold Medal for exceptional contributions to horticulture in Alberta.
