About the authors
JEFFREY C. DOMM has had a lifelong interest in nature and wildlife. Over the past two decades he has illustrated more than 20 wildlife books, including the bestselling Formac Pocketguide to Nova Scotia Birds series. He has also created the Lorimer Pocketguide series.
In 2006 Jeffrey Domm was awarded the Mayor`s Prize for Book Illustration by the Mayor of Halifax for his body of work as a book illustrator.
Jeff lives and works close to the shores of Halifax Harbour, in the village of Cow Bay, Nova Scotia.

Jon Stone began his career as a journalist and nature communicator after publishing a story about standing on the back of a blue whale trapped in ice off the coast of Newfoundland. Retired from the Canadian Wildlife Service, this is his first book. He lives in Cole Harbour.
