About the author
Jan Feduck treasures her Maritime roots. Her home is in Elora, Ontario, and she enjoys summers at her cottage beside the ocean in Nova Scotia, a base camp from which to explore the Maritimes. With family ancestry dating back to the 1700s in Point de Bute, New Brunswick and Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, she feels a strong connection to the history of the East Coast. A lifelong passion for travel has taken her to over forty countries while raising three travel—loving children with her history—loving husband. In all of her journeys, she seeks out food history destinations. As a published travel writer she hopes to inspire others to turn down those dirt roads, and explore what lies beyond the everyday.
